The Planning Commission has the duty to develop and carry out a continuing planning program for the physical, social, and economic growth as well as the development and redevelopment of the City of York, they deal with the continued monitoring and updating of the Comprehensive Plan, Zoning Ordinance and Subdivision Ordinance, take action on rezoning and amendment requests, preliminary and final subdivision requests and home occupations.
