The York Police Department announces the retirement of Chief Bill Mobley, Captain Thomas Jenkins, and Lt. Sarah Robbins.

 

On December 31st, 2010, Chief Bill Mobley, Captain Thomas Jenkins, and Lt. Sarah Robbins retired from the York Police Department.

Chief Mobley had served the city for over 40 years. Chief Mobley started with the police department as a patrol officer and eventually worked his way all the way to the Chief of Police.

Captain Jenkins had served the city for 30 years. Captain Jenkins started with the police department as a patrol officer. Captain Jenkins spent many years as a shift supervisor and then as the captain of the police department.

Lt. Robbins had served the city for nearly 30 years. Lt. Robbins started as a patrol officer and also worked many years as the DARE officer. Lt. Robbins then went to investigations where she then became the supervisor of investigations.

We would like to congratulate them on this accomplishment. We would also like to say thanks for the many years of service to the citzens of the City of York. 

 

The City of York hires Andy Robinson as the new Chief of Police

Andy Robinson was hired as Chief of Police for the York Police department. Andy comes from Fort Mill Police Department where he served as Captain. Andy is a graduate of FBI National Academy. We congratulate Andy and look forward to working with him.
