The City of York provides water service to more than 3,500 residential and commercial customers in the York area. The City of York provides sewer service to more than 3,500 residential and commercial customers in the York area. Our purpose is to provide quality sanitary sewer service to our customers through the effective use of available resources and by effectively treating the city’s wastewater. Our purpose is to produce clean water for discharge into Fishing Creek.

Water or Sewer Problems
Should you experience water or sewer problems, please call 684-2341 or 684-7172. After normal business hours Monday thru Friday and on weekends, please call 684-2341 and the city’s answering service will page the on duty city associate. Please be sure to provide information such as your name, address, and phone number and the nature of your request. We want to ensure customers receive service as quickly as possible.
